WHO AM I?

PIET MEULENKAMP

My name is Piet Meulenkamp and I have been active as a professional visual artist for over 20 years. First in the Netherlands and Germany. But recently also in Denmark. For as long as I can remember, I have made and created things.

My interest in painting and art stemmed from my grandfather. I was inspired by the still lifes and mountain landscapes he created. The world he painted looked so realistic that I was completely engrossed in it. The ability to add depth to a flat surface fascinates me immensely.

“My mission is to use my artistic talent to make the world around us a little more beautiful”

Painting is the way for me to create beautiful and beautiful things. It is a medium with endless possibilities. No matter how much I paint, I can keep challenging myself. For example, there are times when I’m working on a work of art and I look at it and think, ‘Wow! What a cool thing this is going to be. “I get great satisfaction from that.”

Over the years, I have developed my own style and working method, where craftsmanship and quality have become central to my work. I experimented a lot with different materials, colors and sizes. I discovered the endless possibilities of working on a large scale. The more space there is to make a painting, the more enthusiastic I become. Working in a large format offers many opportunities to create a world that comes to life. This world goes beyond the edges of a painting or a wall.

SPECIALTIES

Murals

A mural is a great way to turn a wall into something unique. It brings atmosphere and gives the room a look. A mural is always impressive that makes people smile and leaves a lasting memory. This makes it the best way to differentiate yourself.

Material Imitation

It is not always possible to invest in expensive materials such as marble or wood. If you still want an extremely aesthetic look, material imitation can offer the solution. Making perfect material imitations is a specialty in the painting profession that I have mastered. I mimic materials for both restorative and decorative purposes. The end result can then not be distinguished from the real thing.

Theme Decor and Sculptures

Theme choirs and sculptures complement my paintings. It provides an even more intense atmospheric experience. I design tangible 3D devices and objects with different materials. Artificial trees, statues, pillars and rocks of all kinds. Would you rather draw attention to specific products?

Facade and Wall Restoration

Your facade or walls require the necessary maintenance. Repair work due to new bricks and joints laid in bricks sometimes leads to color differences. Contractors and architects are wasting a lot of time looking for the matching new bricks. Sometimes there are (construction) damages that seem irreparable.
